Got to see some of my aerial photography featured across the front and back cover of the latest issue of the DFI’s industry magazine. This shoot up at the Soo Locks was in Sault Ste Marie, MI right on the international border. It brought some unique challenges for airspace and operating alongside the US Army Corps’ restricted area. Their support was key in making sure I could capture some great views from the sky, along with all the on-site photography done from the ground and manlifts.
An expansive job site that is only accessed from the water or along narrow pathways across the lock gates, my client’s work is a multi-year project and the USACE Detroit District’s largest.
